Mickey Rourke Denies Dating Evan Rachel Wood

While Evan Rachel Wood, 21, politely denied dating The Wrestler costar Mickey Rourke, Rourke chose a more aggressive route, reported E! Online. This weekend, paparazzi caught Rourke walking into Hyde nightclub in L.A. with a blonde companion. When asked about his relationship to Wood, the 56-year-old actor fiercely denied anything, stating: "Do I look like I'm dating Evan Rachel Wood? She's a good friend, that's it. Tell that f****t who wrote all that s**t in the paper I'd like to break his f**king legs." Rourke was quick to apologize, saying in an official statement to E! Online: "I want to sincerely apologize for the derogatory word I used. It was insensitive and inappropriate of me and I am deeply sorry that I may have offended anyone. This was not the first time Rourke has gotten in trouble for offensive language. In 2006, he called a drunken fan a f*g. Later in an interview in New York's Time Out magazine, the actor said: "Look, I'm not afraid to say the word f*g. I've got plenty of gay friends. We toss the word around."
