Milano to design fashionable baseball clothes for girls
She thinks every woman should be able to look hot while sitting in the bleachers.
Alyssa Milano has been everything from Tony Danza's daughter to a witch, but now she's going in an entirely different direction: Milano is helping to create a line of baseball gear aimed at young women.
"TOUCH--by Alyssa Milano" is less Sam Micelli than you might think. It will feature stylish shirts and dresses "utilizing high quality fabrics and body-contouring silhouettes," according to Milano's publicist.
The actress said in a statement that her line, due in stores by spring 2007, "was born out of necessity." "When I go to baseball games," she said, "I want to wear fan gear to support my team, but I've found that the product mix offered in the current marketplace does not address my everyday fashion needs. Women should be able to look stylish while cheering on their favorite team."
