Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus Branded as "Ingrates"

The Hannah Montana set is not a happy place to be in right now. Various reports have said that the cast and crew of the hit Disney Channel show are fighting with Miley Cyrus and her father, Billy Ray.

Supposedly, Miley Cyrus wants to focus on her music career, and she feels that her cable show is a hindrance. Billy Ray supports this in saying that there is more money in music than in children's television.

Sources said that the Cyruses told Hannah Montana producers that they will do twelve more episodes before leaving for good. This is reportedly against their contract. Upon hearing this, Disney called Billy Ray's agent and called him and his daughter ingrates. They insisted that the two will do a 24-episode season as planned, but also an extra six episodes.

Billy Ray and Miley supposedly have been showing up late and stalling production. TMZ said that co-star Emily Osment is also getting fed up with Miley, that she turns away from her after each scene. Inside observers also said that the fathers of the girls have been in screaming matches, Osment's calling Billy Ray unprofessional.

This news came with confusion, as recently, Disney announced that they've collaborated with Miley on a movie deal based on a Nicholas Sparks novel. Perhaps Miley wants to quit TV shows and move into films.

In any case, the future of Hannah Montana is pretty bleak at this point.
