Miley and Justin Call It Quits

E! News is reporting that singer and teen-idol Miley Cyrus and her model boyfriend, Justin Gaston, are no longer dating. Sources close to the couple were the ones who exclusively confirmed to E! that the 16-year-old starlet has ended her nine-month romance with the 20-year-old underwear model.

Reports are indicting that the "Hannah Montana" star called things off last week as she prepared to leave Los Angeles for two months to shoot her Nicholas Sparks movie, "The Last Song," in Savannah, Ga.

After the two twittered about "tears and goodbyes," speculation rose that the duo was calling it quits. E! is reporting that a source close to the couple stated that both of them are really heartbroken over the split.

Yet, the distance may not have been the only reason Gaston and Cyrus split up. According to reports, Gaston had told his friends that Cyrus's reconciled friendship with Nick Jonas caused some tension.

"She obviously has been hanging out with Nick again a lot, and Justin was cool with it at first, as long as it was just a cool, friendly thing," an insider told E! "She didn't cheat, but I guess Nick was trying to get her back the whole time."

A rep for Cyrus had no comment.
