Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas Have 'Reconnected'
Just a few days after calling it quits with Justin Gaston, Miley Cyrus admits to having "reconnected" with ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas, People.com reports.
In an interview with Tennessee radio station 107.5 The River, Cyrus, 16, called Jonas, also 16, her best friend, explaining that the two spend a lot of time together and have "definitely reconnected."
"We don't know what's going to happen in the future, but right now we're just kicking it and hanging out as much as we can," Cyrus addedand on June 9, it appears that the two were hanging out as much as they could on Tybee Island, where Cyrus is filming her next movie, "The Last Song."
The pair were spotted jet skiing on the island, and according to the People.com report, an observer said they appeared to be "having a blast." When 107.5 interviewees asked about her island adventure with Jonas, Cyrus reportedly declined to comment.
As People.com reports, Cyrus confessed to Seventeen magazine that she "bawled for a month straight" after she and Jonas broke it off in December 2007. Their duet, "Before the Storm," that will be featured on the Jonas Brothers' new album, allowed the two stars to reunite. Both Cyrus and Jonas have also reportedly been working on the Disney's Friends for Change campaign.
"We both just kind of saw each other again and kind of decided this whole thing was stupid and . . . we all were over the separation," Cyrus said to the radio station. "And our families are super happy that we're hanging out again."
