Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift Pair Up for Grammys

The teen queens will perform a duet of one of Swift's songs for Sunday's award show.

Despite their attempts to make it work with the Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift are giving it another try and are partnering up with each other.

According to E! News, the young stars are set to perform a duet together at this weekend's Grammy Awards. They will sing "Fifteen," which was written by Swift herself.

"We were trying to figure out different things that would be cool," Swift told Ryan Seacrest Tuesday morning. "We all kind of agreed, 'Wouldn't it be cool if Miley was up there too and we're singing together?' And we're excited about it."

Cyrus told Seacrest that she felt Swift's lyrics "are very inspiring" and felt close to her own life. "This song is perfect for the Grammys," she said.

Cyrus also mentioned that she, like many other teenage girls, spent her 15th year "thinking you know everything," and then realizing that "the only thing you're left with are your best friends." Cyrus considers Swift among her best friends, and Swift feels the same about her.

"We've known each other for a while," Cyrus said, while Swift added, "We've definitely been there for each other."

Along with the teen queens, the Grammy performance lineup will include Adele, Chris Brown and Sugarland, with duets by Estelle and Kanye West and Jamie Foxx and Ne-Yo.

The 51st Grammy Awards will air this Sunday on CBS.
