Miley Cyrus Cancels Tour Date

Miley Cyrus, 16 had to cancel a date on her world tour. She was supposed to perform in Omaha, Nebraska tomorrow night but canceled due to suffering from a strep throat.

Cyrus is only a few weeks in to her Wonder World Tour and this past Tuesday night she was struggling through her Salt Lake City show, she had to stop for 15 minutes. She is sad that she had to cancel Friday nights show but that she needs some time to recuperate from her illness. The cancelled show will be rescheduled for Tuesday, October 16.

The next show Cyrus is scheduled to perform is this Saturday at the Sprint Center in Kansas City. No information has been released if the show will go on or not.

After the Salt Lake City show, Cyrus went to her Twitter page to explain to fans about her having to stop the show. She said that "my throat is yelling at me to shut up. Strep is the worst thing ever. Thank you, Salt Lake, for being so amazing and supportive. My body is done with me working it so hard. Off to have a very nice peaceful sleep," as reported on MTV.com.
