Miley Cyrus Dishes About Trying to be a Role Model
Miley Cyrus has tried very hard not to fall into the "child star gone wrong" category, but living your life in the lime light does not make it easy.
In an interview with MSNBC's "Today show" she told Natalie Morales, "My mistakes are kind of a little bit harder because they are in front of millions and millions of people."
Some of her "mistakes" have included the controversial Annie Leibovitz photo and her alleged pole dance that took place at the Teen Choice Awards.
The young pop star said that she was trying to break away and trying to write music that was inspiring to her. Cyrus also shared some of her up and coming endeavors which include work on the Disney Channel movie "The Last Song." The entertainer said that she was indeed not the picture of perfection, but her mistakes make her want to try and be a better role model. She also said that she has learned to expect the criticism as a part of the job.
