Miley Cyrus plays Hartford with new ticket system
As Miley Cyrus goes on her Wal-Mart-sponsored tour this fall as a budding musical star, one of her premier stops will be the reverential XL Center in Hartford, Conn. on Nov 12. Tickets for the show will go on sale online for various prices. However, all of the tickets sold will be paperless to prevent scalpers from getting the upper hand at this and future gigs, says the HarfordCourant.com.
The St. Pete Times Forum has the rights of handling ticket sales. Spokesperson Bill Wickett has said to myfoxtampabay.com that the paperless system is less of a hassle because patrons only have to bring 'IDs and credit cards to receive their tickets the day of the show. Many parents were aggravated by previous Miley shows because of swindlers would take advantage of the younger folk be reselling tickets for thousands of dollars. Members of the Miley Cyrus fan club are able to buy tickets a day before non-members.
