Miley Cyrus' stalker gets served restraining order

Crazed fan's arrest is welcome news to Disney starlet

Miley Cyrus has been granted a temporary restraining order against 53-year-old Mark McLeod, who was arrested Tuesday for allegedly stalking the Disney superstar, according to TMZ. He was served the restraining order in his court appearance Wednesday. McLeod was arrested on June 22 in a similar incident when he tried to sneak onto the set of Cyrus' latest Disney project, "The Last Song," being filmed near Savannah, Ga. on Tybee Island. He was released soon after due to overcrowding in the prison. The restraining order was filed with the Superior Court of Chatham County and dictates that McLeod, "shall not harass, threaten, molest, contact or attempt to contact, or in any other manner interfere with Cyrus, any member of her family, her friends, and fellow employees."

McLeod, who told police he sent Cyrus hundreds of letters and received her response encrypted within her television show and website, remains detained at the Columbia County Detention Center following his arrest Tuesday. His bail has been set at $50,000.
