Miley Cyrus tops the Album Charts

The singer has the No. 1 album in the country.

Miley Cyrus beat Kelly Clarkson to land the No. 1 spot on the U.S. album charts, according to Billboard Magazine. Her double album, "Hannah Montana 2 (Soundtrack)/Meet Miley Cyrus" sold 326,000 units during the week ending July 1. Clarkson's "My December" debuted at No. 2, selling 291,000 units.

Cyrus' album is divided between two discs, with 20 songs divided evenly between her music from the Disney Channel show "Hannah Montana" and her own debut studio album. The first "Hannah Montana" album, released last year, also debuted at No. 1, selling 281,000.

Miley Cyrus is the daughter of country musician Billy Ray Cyrus, who stars alongside his daughter on "Hannah Montana."

Rounding out the top five are Bon Jovi with "Lost Highway," The White Stripes' "Icky Thump," and Brad Paisley's "5th Gear."

Other notable debuts include the Beastie Boys' "The Mix-Up" at No. 15, Pearl Jam's "Live at the Gorge" at No. 36, and Paul Simon's "Essential" double-disc album at No. 42.
