Miley Raps Reasons for Quitting Twitter

Miley Cyrus may have deleted her Twitter account, but she has no qualms with YouTube.

After puzzled fans questioned the singer's choice to stop Tweeting and gossiping news sources suggested it was because of Liam Hemsworth, Cyrus decided to give her explanation via YouTube video.

The pop singer turns rapper for this video, meant to help fans understand why she deleted her account. The teen denied that co-star Hemsworth was the advocate behind the decision. Instead, she points to the desire to stay out of the spotlight.

"Everything that I type and everything that I do, all those lame gossip types take it and they make it news," Cyrus raps.

However, the video has now garnered as much news as any Tweet ever did. In fact, Cyrus supposedly had 2 million fans following her Twitter updates, but now 3 million people have seen her online rap session. In attempting to gain privacy, she actually turned more eyes towards her.

Lily Allen has also recently deleted her Twitter account. Courtney Love and daughter, Frances Cobain, have also noticeably ceased Tweeting.
