Miranda Lambert changing her name to Miranda Shelton

Newlywed country singer Miranda Lambert has decided to take her husband’s last name.

According to Us Magazine, Lambert, 27, who wed fellow country singer Blake Shelton, 34, in Texas on Saturday, will legally change her name to Miranda Shelton, the “The House That Built Me” singer’s rep confirmed.

Lambert, however, will keep “Lambert” professionally.

Lambert has already tested out her new last name on Twitter . On Monday, she wrote, “Mrs. Shelton here! Winning!!”

After dating since 2006 and becoming engaged last May, the Grammy-winning country star wed The Voice coach at the Don Strange Ranch on Saturday evening in front of 550 guests that included Reba McEntire, Kelly Clarkson, and Martina McBride, among others.

This is the first marriage for Lambert and the second for Shelton.
