Mischa Barton Breaks Down, While Her Show Is PostPoned

This past week there has been a lot of talk about Mischa Barton and her meltdown. People are wondering what may have caused this breaking point for the former "OC" star.

The San Francisco Examiner is reporting that sources told People magazine, Barton has been fighting a lot of personal issues and they are glad she is getting help. They also say that she has been on a destructive path for a while now and that her drug and alcohol use has gotten so out-of-control that it was driving people away.

Now that Barton is getting the help she needs, it looks like her new show, "Beautiful Life," may need a little tender, loving care. It is being reported that production on the show has been postponed and, of course, most are linking the sudden delay to Barton's sudden breakdown, but according to Reuters, that is not the reason.

Reuters is reporting that sources are saying that Barton has nothing to do with it, some of the sets were not completed, and Barton's role in the show is still unclear at the time.
