Mischa Barton Reportedly 'Doing Great'

Mischa Barton is planning to return to the set of the CW show, "The Beautiful Life," as production begins this Friday.

The actress's rep told People.com that the star is doing fine and is "back to business as usual." Ashton Kutcher, "The Beautiful Life's" creator and producer, told Reuters that Barton "is doing great" as well.

The 23-year-old actress was hospitalized on July 15 after she called police to escort her to the hospital because she was having a nervous breakdown. The hospital later put her under involuntary psychiatric hold. The actress has also suffered from drug and alcohol addictions and had a DUI, Actress Archives reported.

RadarOnline.com reported that it exclusively learned that Barton is getting a little help from Nicole Richie, a celebrity who had some problems of her own not too long ago, including a DUI. Richie apparently helped Barton to stop smoking in addition to gearing her up for the upcoming show.
