Jackson, along with comedian Steve Harvey, Jackson's brother Randy, and Jackson's attorney Thomas Mesereau Jr., stopped by the First AME Church, a prominent black church in the South Los Angeles community where Mesereau is an active member.
Jackson said he went to the church to "worship and see the children," according to ABC's 'Good Morning America.' And when a girl asked if she could visit him at his Neverland Ranch, Jackson said, "You're welcome to come anytime."
On August 16th, the Santa Maria court will review charges against Tom Sneddon, the prosecuting attorney in the Jackson case, about illegally obtaining evidence. Sneddon allegedly broke into the Beverly Hills, California, office of private investigator Bradley Miller, taking pictures of the building and a list of the tenants. While he is not required to be in court for the hearing, Jackson said he plans to attend, according the to Associated Press.
Jackson, 45, is charged with committing a lewd act upon a child, administering an intoxicating agent and conspiring to commit child abduction, false imprisonment and extortion, to which he has pleaded not guilty. He posted a $3 million bail.
