Moore Names Latest Documentary
Michael Moore named his latest documentary this week: "Capitalism: A Love Story." This is his latest film since 2007s "Sicko" about privatized health care in the United States. As the name suggests, "Capitalism" will be about the American economy and the free market.
In regards to the title, The Associated Press reports Moore as explaining, "It's got it all lust, passion, romance and 14,000 jobs being eliminated every day. It's forbidden love, one that dare not speak its name. Heck, let's just say it: It's capitalism."
The movie is scheduled to be released in October, the one year anniversary of Wall Street's bailout approved by the US Senate. Certainly there couldn't be a better time for a capitalism-bashing documentary, and doesn't Moore know it. The economic recession has everyone looking for answers and "Sicko" seems to have softened Moore's audience to what "Capitalism" is about to propose.
You can count on "Capitalism: A Love Story" selling millions worldwide. Conservatives and Liberals alike flock to see Moore's films, either to know what they're up against or show support.
