Moore's 2nd Michigan Film Festival promises bigger movies, crowd

Filmmaker Michael Moore is returning to The Traverse City Film Festival with at least 60 films and directors like Woody Allen in tow.

Michael Moore's 2nd annual Michigan film festival, dubbed Traverse City Film Festival, has already attracted 60 films this year, including those by filmmakers Woody Allen and Jeff Goldblum.

With an audience of over 50,000 in 2005, the controversial filmmaker's event is all but guaranteed to garner increased attention.

The festival, to be held July 31 at the Star Theater for $25 a head, will be kicked off by Jeff Goldblum's mockumentary "Pittsburg." Woody Allen's "Scoop," starring Scarlet Johansson, will likely be the most anticipated film of the night.
