More Stars Sign Up For “Hope For Haiti” Telethon
Beyoncé will join an all-star list of celebrities who will be present and performing at the “Hope For Haiti” telethon on Friday.
Beyoncé will be in London during the event and will video conference in to perform. In London with her will be husband, Jay-Z, as well as Bono and The Edge from U2.
Other performers that will be present at the telethon include Justin Timberlake, Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift, and many more.
The performances from “Hope For Haiti” will be available for purchase on iTunes. Beginning on Friday, iTunes customers will have the opportunity to exclusively pre-order both the Hope For Haiti Now album for $7.99 as well as the full two-hour telecast for $1.99.
All of the proceeds from Apple and iTunes, as well as the record labels and artists, will be donated to Haiti relief funds.
“Hope For Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief” will air on over a dozen main TV networks on Friday, January 22 at 8pm ET and will run for two hours.
