Morrissey, the former front man for the 80's alternative rock band The Smiths collapsed while performing at a show last night. He was performing "This Charming Man" a song made famous by his former band, the song was cut short when Morrissey collapsed on stage due to breathing problems.

The show was in the southern English town of Swindon at the Oasis Leisure Centre, after the collapse tow band member carried him off the stage to be treated by a medical crew. He was then brought to a Swindon Hospital.

A spokeswomen for the hospital stated that "he was kept overnight as a precautionary measure but was much improved and had been discharged" as reported on BBC.com.

Morrissey came to the stage at the beginning of the show and said "Good Evening…probably" which gave fans an oh-no moment, seeing as he is famous for cancelling his shows.

A reporter from the Sunday Telegraph reported that after the incident there was a 25 minute wait before fans were notified that Morrissey would not be returning due to serious illness. Fans began to boo, thinking he was being a diva again according to ABCNews.com.
