For our second ridiculous political move of the day... the Iman from the "ground zero mosque" decided to say that he felt the site shouldn't be viewed as "hallowed ground".
Now yes, he's absolutely right that the location a few blocks from the World Trade Center site wasn't exactly pristine with strip clubs and the such... BUT it's not necessarily the smartest move to actually use the phrase "not hallowed ground".
Going forward, if his goal is to make things better and he’s hoping that the site is a place of healing so far he’s not really accomplishing it.
