Movie-filled Weekend Nov. 19-21

Nicholas Cage and Sponge Bob take us on two different adventures.

This weekend, be sure to take the kids to see the big-screen adaptation of the popular kid cartoon, SpongeBob SquarePants. Don't be deceived by its cartoon fa?ade; the movie actually contains the voice talents of Tom Kenny, Alec Baldwin, Scarlett Johansson and David Hasselhoff.

Nicholas Cage takes us on an edge-of-your-seat treasure hunt adventure in National Treasure. Directed by Jon Turteltaub and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, the film takes us on an exciting quest for a hidden treasure. The only problem is, the map to this historic treasure is on the back of the Declaration of Independence. Gasp!

Also, in limited release is Bad Education (also known as La Mala Educaci?n) by critically acclaimed director, Pedro Almodovar. Set in the time of Franco-era religious schooling, the film stars Gael Garcia Bernal (Motorcycle Diaries, Y Tu Mama Tambien) as a troubled man who rediscovers his sexually abused past and his longtime friend.

The holiday film season is upon us for Thanksgiving weekend with Alexander and Christmas with the Kranks! Have a fun film-loving weekend!
