Mr. T Shoots Down 'Expendables 2' Rumors
I pity the fools who stir up rumors, says Mr. T.
Anyone who is looking for a reunion between Sylvester Stallone and Mr. T isn't going to get one -- supposedly.
The Sun started rumors last week after the recent success of Expendables that Stallone would try to add Mr. T, The Rock, Vin Diesel, and other action stars to a potential sequel.
When asked by TheCelebrityCafe.com over the weekend whether the rumors of Stallone giving him a call for Expendables 2 were true, Mr. T exclaimed, "No, no, no. That's not true. That's not true."
Whether this is simply a cover up or the truth remains to be seen. His answer was short and to the point, with no extra details. One thing is for sure; a Mr. T and Stallone collaboration would be epic. Most people remember the two for starring in Rocky III together with Mr. T as the antagonist. The movie went on to gross over $125 million domestically.
Stallone is strongly considering Expendables 2 as an option, as the movie made $182 million worldwide on rave reviews.
Mr. T most recently starred in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs in 2009.
