Mrs. President
ABC's newest TV show is "Commander-in-Chief" starring Geena Davis as the President
ABC's fall schedule line-up will include "Commander-in-Chief," a drama featuring Academy Award winner Geena Davis. She will play Mackenzie Allen, the United State's first female president.
According to ABC entertainment president Stephen McPherson, it will not be a show about politics. "It's the story of a woman; it's the story of a wife; it's the story of a family."
Davis's character is the mother of twin teenage daughters and a 6-year-old son. Donald Sutherland costars.
Along with renewing "Desperate Housewives," "Lost" and "Grey's Anatomy," ABC has also added a show starring Freddie Prinze Jr. "Freddie" is a sitcom about a bachelor chef living with his sister, sister-in-law, niece and grandmother.
