MTV Providing Live Stream from Red Carpet of 2010 Movie Awards

MTV has set up a live cam at the red carpet in order to allow viewers to watch live streaming footage from L.A.

The 2010 MTV Movie Awards are scheduled to occur on Sunday, June 6 from Los Angeles, California. The award show will air live at 9 P.M. ET and Hollywood Crush will be blogging about the event from the red carpet starting one hour before the ceremony begins. To go along with their coverage on Sunday, MTV.com is providing viewers with a live stream from the red carpet that will air until the broadcast starts.

At the moment, construction workers are simply continuing to create the red carpet, which A-list celebrities will be walking on over the weekend. However, there is a strong possibility that various stars will be appearing on MTV’s live cam when rehearsals roll around.

The 2010 MTV Movie Awards will be hosted by Aziz Ansari of MTV’s Human Giant. There will be a musical performance from pop diva Christina Aguilera, who will be performing a song off of her upcoming album Bionic. The seemingly odd-pairing of Katy Perry and Snoop Dogg is scheduled to perform their new single, “California Gurls,” which is featured on Perry’s upcoming album Teenage Dream.

To watch the winners in various categories such as Best Breakout Star, Best Female Performance, Best Male Performance, Global Superstar, Best Comedic Performance and Best Film, tune in to the 2010 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, June 6.
