Much Anticipated iPad Available for Pre-Order at Apple Online Store

The highly anticipated iPad is now available for pre-order through the Apple Online Store and the company is promising free delivery on Saturday, April 3.

Apple is currently providing its customers with an opportunity to pre-order and reserve iPads before they are scheduled to be available for purchase in stores. The company has announced that their much anticipated iPad is now available for pre-order at the Apple Online Store and they have also promised that they will be delivering the product to their customers’ doors for free on Saturday, April 3. For those who will prefer to reserve their iPad at an Apple store location, they can pick up their order between the hours of 9 A.M. ET and 3 P.M. ET on April 3rd.

According to InformationWeek.com, Apple is promising free delivery on April 5th in locations where Saturday delivery is unavailable. In order to prevent people from purchasing overwhelming amounts of iPads and reselling them back to the market at an inflated price, the company is limiting iPad purchase reservations to two per customer.

Technological analysts have provided a diverse range of predictions in regards to the expected first year sales for Apple’s innovative iPad. InformationWeek.com is reporting that while certain analysts are projecting first year sales for the iPad to hover around the one million unit mark, others have far loftier expectations for the product. Some analysts are projecting first year totals to reach as high as 10 million units.
