Multitalented Rapper Branches into Movies

Andre 3000, the more visible half of Outkast, is spreading his wings into the movie business. According to the "Hollywood Reporter," Andre will be playing the brother of Mark Wahlberg, both of them committed to avenging the death of their mother. The film is as yet untitled, but "Four Brothers" was used as a working title. The film will begin shooting on Monday.

The hip-hop star, who is responsible for the chart-topper "Hey Ya," will also be appearing in a sequel to "Get Shorty," entitled "Be Cool". From the trailers, it looks as though Andre is capable of being as much of a visual entertainer as he is an auditory one.
