Munoz Quits as PR Rep for "Octomom"
According to MSNBC, Victor Munoz has quit as the PR representative for Nadya Suleman. Munoz quit after less than a month representing Suleman and her 14 children.
This marks the second time in a month that Suleman has had to hire a new publicist, after Joanna Killeen quit due to receiving death threats via voicemail and email.
Killeen said, "They'd put me in the wood chipper and throw me in the bottom of the ocean and hope I die. We've gotten her through the worst part of it and now they are putting their venom and anger toward us."
Munoz couldn't go into detail as to why he left the Sulemans, telling Us Magazine, "It just got to be too much. It's pretty much a free for all over there right now."
He went on to say that he would be meeting with his legal team on Monday to discuss the confidentiality clause of his contract.
Suleman, 33, gained notoriety after birthing octuplets in January. However, when details of her life came out, public opinion changed in a more negative way. Suleman is unemployed, had 6 children previously, lives off food stamps and intended to use her student loans to help pay for the costs of her 14 children.
Munoz also told Us Magazine, "Nadya got real greedy. This woman is nuts. This I can say: What ultimately destroyed the relationship was personal reasons."
Suleman said on the Feb. 10 Today show, "I am providing for my children, I am, and that will probably run out by the time I go back to school. So I have my own way. It's an alternative way, but it works."
Munoz also had sharp words for the Suleman family, describing them as, "Freaking out right now. Not to sound arrogant, but those people depended on me for everything. You have no idea what I've had to do for these people."
