MySpace Syncs to Facebook

MySpace updates will show up on Facebook

MySpace users can now sync their updates to Facebook. Users will have the option to share updates with Twitter and Facebook. When people click on Facebook to share, they will be taken to the Facebook permission request page.

It’s important to know that users don't get to choose which updates go over to Facebook. Once they allow for their pages to sync, every photo, game, or link posted on MySpace will show up on Facebook.

"This is particularly exciting for the millions of musicians on MySpace who can now use this tool as a complement to their MySpace Music presence and share their vast library of content, including full album catalogs, to people who've liked their Facebook page," a release from MySpace explained.

Not only can individual users sync their updates, but also bands and celebrities will be able to do so. At the beginning, MySpace became popular because independent bands could establish an online presence. However, the company is losing out to Facebook’s fan pages.

At the moment, only updates made on MySpace can show in Facebook. However, updates made to Facebook won’t show up on MySpace.
