Naomi Campbell Says She Is Boycotting British Air
According to E! News, Naomi Campbell announced she will be boycotting British Air after she was arrested at London's Heathrow Airport earlier this month for allegedly causing a disruption and spitting on an airport officer.
British Air reportedly banned Campbell; however, the supermodel told the Brazilian media that the airline is desperate to have her back as a customer.
"Someone from B.A. called me and asked that I return to fly with them, but this will not occur so early," Campbell said Wednesday. "They didn't find my bag - said it wasn't in the system - and there was a complete disrespect for the passengers.
"I am not speaking for myself. I am speaking for all those who have been disrespected," she continued.
Despite the supermodel's claims, a rep from B.A. told London's Evening Standard newspaper, "We are not aware of any pleading phone calls to Ms. Campbell."
Campbell traveled to Rio de Janeiro on Monday in an effort to bring awareness to the dengue fever epidemic, according to E! News.
