Naomi Watts to share ‘Dream House’ with Daniel Craig

Academy Award nominated actress Naomi Watts will be joining Daniel Craig in the cast of the upcoming Morgan Creek/Universal thriller "Dream House."

Actress Naomi Watts will be starring opposite the latest actor to play James Bond, Daniel Craig, in the Morgan Creek/Universal thriller “Dream House.”

According to an article on HollywoodReporter.com, “The project, picked up as a spec by David Loucka, follows a family that relocates into what appears to be the ideal residence in small town Connecticut. However, a father (Craig) and his family are disturbed to discover that their beautiful new home was the site of another family's slaughter, believed to be at the hands of the husband who survived. Watts plays the family's neighbor.”

Jim Sheridan will helm the film. His past directing credits include the 2009 Jake Gyllenhaal/Natalie Portman/Tobey Maguire thriller Brothers and the 2005 biopic of rapper 50 Cent entitled Get Rich or Die Tryin’.

Morgan Creek will fully finance the motion picture while Universal distributes it. James G. Robinson will be producing the film along with David Robinson, Daniel Bobker and Ehren Kruger. James G. Robinson’s past producing credits include the 2005 Al Pacino/Matthew McConaughey/Rene Russo thriller Two for the Money, the 2006 Robert De Niro-directed Matt Damon/Angelina Jolie/Alec Baldwin drama The Good Shepherd and the 2007 Garry Marshall-directed Jane Fonda/Lindsay Lohan/Felicity Huffman/Dermot Mulroney dramedy Georgia Rule.

Production on Dream House is scheduled to begin in Toronto in February.

Currently, Watts is attending the Sundance Film Festival for her ensemble drama Mother and Child, which was headed by Rodrigo Garcia.
