Natalie Dormer Joins the Cast of ABC’s ‘Poe’

Former ‘Tudors’ star joins the ABC pilot.

Natalie Dormer has been cast in the new ABC pilot, Poe.

According to Dread Central, Poe, which has Alex Graves handling the directorial reins for its first episode, is a new crime procedural TV series that will follow Edgar Allan Poe, the world's very first detective, as he uses unconventional methods to investigate dark mysteries in 1840s Boston.

Dormer joins Kevin McNally, Tabrett Bethell, Leslie Odom, Jr. and Christopher Egan, who are already locked into roles according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Dormer, whose previous TV credits include Showtime’s The Tudors and BBC’s Silk, will play the part of Celeste.

Dormer is also slated to appear in the superhero blockbuster, Captain America: The First Avenger.

Chris Hollier will write and executive produce the pilot.
