Natalie Portman keeps busy
The "V for Vendetta" actress is rumored to have two important projects in the works.
Rumor has it that Natalie Portman will be playing Anne Boleyn in the film adaptation of Philippa Gregory's "The Other Boleyn Girl." The Hollywood Reporter has published that she is in final negotiations to star opposite Eric Bana.
The novel has been adapted by Peter Morgan and will be directed by Justin Chadwick, director of the BAFTA-winning miniseries "Bleak House." Filming is scheduled to begin in September in London.
Meanwhile, Portman is also in talks to star in the adaptation of Michael Chabon's "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay." The Pulitzer Prize-winning author posted a blog on his official site that said "Natalie Portman is a strong likelihood for the part of Rosa" and that "other casting is ongoing."
