Where are we supposed to turn to for design tips now?
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Oprah Winfrey’s favorite interior designer will not be returning to TV for a third season of The Nate Berkus Show.
“After careful consideration, we have decided that The Nate Berkus Show will not return for a third season in the fall," Harpo Studios and Sony Pictures Television said in a joint statement.
"We are grateful for the hard work and heart that Nate, [executive producer] Corin Nelson and their entire team have poured into the show, and we’re very proud of what they’ve delivered.”
Reuters reported the show, which premiered in September 2010 to poor ratings, will air for the remainder of its second season and will remain on the airwaves until May.
“I’m incredibly proud of my hard working and talented staff, and proud of the show we were able to produce every day,” the show’s host said in a statement.
While Winfrey essentially jumpstarted Berkus’s TV career, his show will not be continuing on her OWN network.
The show’s time slot will be replaced by new talk show hosts including ones from Survivor host Jeff Probst, journalist Katie Couric and talk show veteran Ricki Lake.
