NBC Swaps "Life" and "Lipstick Jungle"

We're talking time slots.

Brooke Shields' "Lipestick Jungle" has been sent to the television equivalent of a timeout.Specifically, "Lipstick Jungle" has changed its Wednesday night time on the NBC schedule with "Life"'s friday night slot. The reason for the move is two-fold. First off, there is the ratings, which have been disappointing for "Lipstick Jungle" at 10 p.m. The second reason for the move is that it gives NBC a relatively strong Wednesday night. The reason is because "Law & Order" will go back to its traditional time period on Nov. 5 (the slot previously held by "Lipstick Jungle").That give NBC's Wednesday night a lineup of "Knight Rider," "Life" and "Law & Order."
