NBC's "Singing Bee" Tonight

Imagine this, you are whisked from the comfort of your seat and forced to sing pop songs while being watched by all of America. Sounds pretty much like an average nightmare, but no it's NBC's new game show. The show, "The Singing Bee," is a whacked out version of a spelling bee, with music. Contestants are chosen from the audience to get up on stage and sing pop songs karaoke style. However, midway through the song they cut the music off and expect the person to know the lyrics. The host of the new show is none other then Nsyncer and "Dancing With the Stars" finalist Joey Fatone. "All you have to do is know the lyrics, we're going to give you $50,000," he says. "The minute the music cuts out they've got to either know it, or they don't." The show premieres tonight on NBC at 9:30 p.m. after "America's Got Talent."
