Nelly Wants a Duet with Bruce Springsteen

Rapper Nelly is bummed that he wasn't able to secure a duet with "The Boss" on his new album. Still, the rapper hopes the two can team-up later this year.

According to the Associated Press, rapper Nelly isn't too happy that he missed the opportunity to collaborate with Bruce Springsteen on his new album.

The rapper told the Associated Press, "I was really trying to get The Boss, but The Boss is all over the world. It didn't really work out. I know he's interested in doing it. And I'm interested in doing it."

Springsteen is currently amidst an international tour and reportedly wasn't able to allocate time for the duet. Although Nelly didn't give details of what collaboration with Springsteen would've sounded like, the rapper is still hopeful he'll be able to team up with The Boss later this year.

"We still might get a chance to get it off," Nelly stated. "We're saving it. We might repackage it for the holidays."

Nelly's latest album, Brass Knuckles, is set to drop in June and will feature a collage of duets with artists Akon, Ashanti, Chuck D, Ciara, LL Cool J, Lil Wayne, Pimp C, Snoop Dogg and T.I.
