NERD Planning a Full-Length Feature Film

NERD, headlined by famed-producers Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo (who make up The Neptunes), plan to film their own version of A Hard Day's Night.

Their spin on The Beatles' film will also be a full length feature, and will track their evolution from the recording studio to their live set. The film will be directed by hip-hop music video director Hype Williams, and is initially set for release in December 2008.

Pharrell Williams told NY radio station Hot 97 that, "[The film] is going to be like The Beatles' A Hard Day's Night, it's a full-length film. It's for our fans."

Hype Williams seemingly has worked with every major hip-hop artist. The list includes Notorious BIG, Kanye West, Jay-Z and LL Cool J. He has also previously worked with NERD on their "Rock Star" video.

NERD's new album, Seeing Sounds, is set for release on June 9.
