Neverland in Maryland?

Michael Jackson could be moving to Maryland's Eastern Shore.

The Washington Post reported yesterday that Michael Jackson has been spotted in Maryland's Eastern Shore looking for real estate.

Jackson's publicist Raymone Bain told the paper on Monday that Jackson was in Eastern Shore for one day, scouting for a summer home. Jackson has not looked at that region specifically however, and has been looking along the East Coast for houses.

Jackson came east with his children about 10 days ago to meet with his advisers and attorneys, many of whom are based on the Eastern side of the United States.

It is still uncertain if Michael Jackson will really buy a home, let alone if he can even afford one. Former financial advisors to Michael Jackson have alleged that the star is on the brink of bankruptcy, a charge that Jackson denies. Michael Jackson agreed to sell, among other things, his rights to the Beatles' catalog to settle his debts.
