New “Alice in Wonderland” Trailer Released

Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” has released a second trailer that can be found online.

The trailer opens with Johnny Depp, as the Mad Hatter, speaking in a warbling tone, “There is a place like no place on earth. Some say to survive it, you need to be as mad as a hatter – which luckily, I am.”

The trailer shows Depp with orange hair and huge eyes, towering over Alice, played by Mia Wasikowska. Other lead characters in the movie include Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen, who was easy to recognize despite her oddly shaped head, which is an example of the movie’s blend of live action and CGI.

Anne Hathaway makes an appearance in the trailer as the White Queen, dressed in a white gown and long, white-blond hair.

“Alice in Wonderland” will be in theaters March 5, 2010.
