New Addition to the Lohan Clan?

There's new drama afoot in the Lohan family saga-and this time neither Lindsay nor mother Dina are the stars of the show.

According to AP News, Michael Lohan, father of actress Lindsay, said in a statement Friday that he had a relationship with a woman 13 years ago who may have given birth to his child.

Lohan said that his brief affair with a woman named Kristy occurred while he was separated from Dina Lohan and Kristy was going through the last stages of her own divorce.

"Years later she contacted me convincing me that I was the only person she was with and that she had my child," Lohan told OK! Magazine.

The father of four children with ex-wife Dina Lohan said he and his lawyers will "sort out" Kristy's claim. OK! reported Friday that the girl is now 13.

Earlier this month, Michael Lohan appeared before a family court judge in Long Island and alleged that Dina Lohan was not allowing him enough access to their two youngest children, Aliana (Ali), 14, and Dakota (Cody), 11.

Michael and Dina Lohan finalized their divorce last August after 22 years of marriage.

A former Wall Street broker, Lohan served nearly two years for attempted assault and driving while intoxicated, AP News reports. He was released from prison in March 2007.
