New Changes to NBC's Fall Schedule
NBC co-chairs Ben Silverman and Marc Graboff recently announced changes to the coming Fall Schedule.
NBC will add the shows "Journeyman" and "Chuck" to the Monday lineup. An American adaptation of a hit Israeli live-competition show, "Successor," will also be added, starring mentalist Uri Gellar and Criss Angel.
"Bionic Woman" will be added to the schedule for five episodes. The show stars Isaiah Washington, the actor ousted from the show "Grey's Anatomy" after saying a gay slur.
Shows that are coming back include "Heroes," which will be paired with the other Monday shows to create an all-fantasy lineup. "Deal or No Deal" is moving to Fridays and "Friday Night Lights" moves to the 8 p.m. slot. Jerry Seinfeld will also make an appearance as himself in "30 Rock."
"The Apprentice" is also coming back, except with a special twist: contestants compete for charity. The chairmen did not rule out Rosie O' Donnell appearing with Donald Trump on the show.
The new additions and schedule changes come at a time when NBC is currently at fourth place among the major broadcast networks. Silverman and Graboff became co-chairs after Kevin Reilly was fired from the same job.
