ABC is rebooting the classic series Charlie's Angels this fall with more karate action and newer angels up for the task of punching crime square in the nose. Instead of California, this incarnation of the three female heroes will take place in the sunny beaches of Miami.
In this version of the angels, the female leads are recruited based on their gritty past, to repent and fight the good fight. Bosley is back too and will be more involved in the action this time around.
By the creators of the hit Smallville and executive produced by Drew Barrymore, Charlie's Angels has a chance to recapture the magic of Farrah Fawcett. Producer Gough commented to ABC on the possibility of his new show hitting it big,"when you say you're going to reboot Charlie's Angels, you certainly are just hanging a big target on your back. What you want to do ideally is reconnect with an audience that loved the show when they were younger and also bring new fans to it."
The show was in the news this week; when a crew member was let go for sexual harassing one of the stars Minka Kelly. He touched her on the bottom while holding a hundred dollar bill out to her. An set insider told Star, "It seems like it was meant to be a joke, but clearly it was inappropriate. Minka was shocked and absolutely irate. She was still fuming about it hours later."
