The New Facebook Is Upon Us

You will have no choice whether you want the new layout or not.

Mark Zuckerberg and the Facebook team have come under fire recently for many of their features that, in their opinion, make your information sharing easier. The common criticism among the users of the most-popular social networking site are that they don't want everybody to know everything about them.

This started with the mini-feed application, which provides the user a constant update about the happenings in their friends' lives (my ex-girlfriend broke up with her boyfriend a month ago, and I found out about it on Facebook, for example).

Now, Facebook will automatically switch users to their new style of Facebook, which, in their opinion, provides users with a better way to access information and a more user-friendly way to go about using the site's different application.

There is a great deal of outcry among users, who are comfortable with the old layout. Zuckerberg even said that the change will alienate some of the 100 million plus users on the networking site. But that they should soon get used to it because Facebook has been rolling out the new features slowly over the past year.

So whether you like it or not, the new version of Facebook will be forced upon you starting today. There is no longer an option to keep the old layout.
