New Film for Ferrell
In what is sure to be a dark comedy, 2 Face, a new film by Columbia, will star Will Ferrell, according to Hollywood Reporter. Ferrell stars as a man with split personalities. One of the personalities is racist, while the other is extremely liberal.
Writer of 2 Face, Vince Gilligan, has also penned such hits as Hancock and Home Fries. Columbia has yet to sign on a director for the film, according to Reuters.
Will Ferrell, the funnyman from Saturday Night Live, is known for classic comedy films, like Anchorman, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Elf and Old School. The comedian has ventured into more serious fare, like 2006's Stranger Than Fiction.
Columbia is also releasing the latest in Ferrell comedies, Step Brothers, which also stars John C. Reilly. Step Brothers comes out June 25.
