Just like many on the East Coast, Sarah Jessica Parker is preparing her family for Hurricane Irene.
While the Sex and the City star was promoting her newest film, I Don’t Know How She Does It on Thursday, the New Yorker explained how she is preparing for when the storm hits NYC on Saturday.
According to USA Today, the actress said she and husband Matthew Broderick are keeping their three children; 2-year-old twins Loretta and Tabitha, and 8-year-old son James Wilkie, safe.
The family is stocking up on flashlights, batteries, and water.
OK! Magazine reports that Parker also told reporters she is “removing anything that could fly through windows,” from her home.
Weather predictions are that Hurricane Irene will be a category 3 storm.
