Newest NYC Housewife Charged with Assault
Kelly Bensimon, the newest "Housewife," is charged with assaulting her boyfriend.
A month after Chris Brown made headlines for beating his girlfriend, Rihanna, another celebrity is charged with assaulting a lover. Kelly Bensimon, the newest edition to Bravo's "The Real Housewives of New York City," has been charged by the NYPD with the misdemeanor assault of her on-again/off-again boyfriend, Nick Stefanov.
After a fight which led to Stefanov receiving a black eye and a cut cheek from Bensimon, he went to the cops. Bensimon was arrested on March 5 and charged with misdemeanor assault. Her lawyer, Stephen Turano, said that he is "confident that the charges are unfounded and [we] look forward to a quick resolution." Bensimon has entered a plea of not guilty.
