News of Five "Twilight" Films Premature

Twilight fans hope that a fourth and possibly a fifth film will be made in the "Twilight Saga," but a Summit rep said any statements regarding further films are premature.

Twilight fans went into a frenzy Friday night when new cast member Boo Boo Stewart announced that there would be five films in the "Twilight Saga." However, a representative from Summit Entertainment told Access Hollywood that the statements were premature.

Boo Boo Stewart, who is set to play wolfpack member Seth Clearwater in "Eclipse," has contract options for films following "Eclipse" but nothing is confirmed.

A fourth film is likely to be made because there are four books in the "Twilight Saga." Summit Entertainment, however, has not confirmed that "Breaking Dawn" will make it on screen.

A fifth film could be made; it could be an entirely new plotline or the fourth book could be split into two films. However, a source tells RadarOnline.com that "it is absolutely not true" that the fourth book will be split into two films.

"New Moon," the second installment in the series, will hit theaters on November 20. "Eclipse," the third film, began filming earlier this month and will hit theaters on June 30, 2010.
