Nick and Vanessa Call it Quits

Singer, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo split up. Lachey, a former relatity star starred in the MTV hit reality TV show, "Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica" with his former wife singer Jessica Simpson. As for Minnillo, she is an actress, TV presenter and model. The couple has been together for three years, but they decided to call it quits.

According to People, their representatives confirmed indeed it was the end of their relationship, but, "They have amicably split but remain good friends who still greatly care for one another". Minnillo and Lachey haven't commented on the reason for their splitting up.

However, there have been claims that the break-up had been dismissed by Minnillo saying that this month the couple was still on.

Lachey didn't make a comment.
