Nick Cannon was hospitalized over the holidays for mild kidney failure, and he underwent surgery earlier this month.
The America’s Got Talent host and husband of Mariah Carey announced to his Twitter followers on Wednesday that he was back in the hospital.
He tweeted "Back at the hospital, but no worries its (sic) only for the day. I will be back at work tomorrow!” Contact Music reports.
He informs his followers that the hospital stay is "Not an emergency. This was a scheduled procedure. I just dislike hospitals."
The new father of twins also lets everyone know that this hospital visit won’t be a setback for him, as he said he will be "back at work" by Thursday, USA Today reports.
Meanwhile, new reports are now surfacing that an X Factor judge shake-up could see Cannon’s wife replacing judge Nicole Scherzinger.
Hollywood Dame reports that Scherzinger is having trouble with the process of sending contestants home and as it turns out, she’s not right for the job.
Carey reportedly contacted creator Simon Cowell to tell him she would be happy to take over the judging spot. Cowell has reportedly always seen Carey involved in the show in some way, and this could be the right time to introduce her into the X Factor family.
